Whole foods are foods which are in as close to their natural form as possible. These foods have not had important nutritional components stripped by processing, and therefore don't require additives and fortification to reintroduce nutritional value. Whole foods tend to be nutrient dense, providing your cells with the building blocks they need to successfully preform all of the important functions in the body, leaving you feeling and functioning at your best.
ARE ALL WHOLE FOODS UNPROCESSED? Actually no!
Some processing methods do not strip/add components to foods in a way that has a detrimental nutritional impact. Methods such as freezing, canning, and dehydrating all 'process' the food, but may keep the whole food intact thus maintaining the nutritional value of the food.
